The Human Rights Database and Analysis Project (HRDA Project) is an academic and independent project. The project was born out of the need for a hub where reliable human rights data for each country in the world can both be accessed, and progress analyzed.
The HRDA Project offers a Global Human Rights Database, drawing from Universal Periodic Review (UPR) reports, categorizing data by country, rights issues, review cycles, and positivity/negativity. Search options can also focus on data from NGOs, UN assessments, and State recommendations during the UPR review.
The HRDA Project presents objective and reliable information on the fulfillment by each State of its human rights obligations and commitments. As such, they could be very beneficial to researchers, journalists, human rights activists, educators, policymakers, and the general population interested in understanding the state and the progress of human rights in a particular country or on a specific issue worldwide.
